This policy explains what Swallow Post (package name com.swallowpost.app, the "App") collects and how it is used. The App is a pen-pal service that delivers paper-airplane letters to other users around the world.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not ask for your email, phone number or real name. To provide the service we collect and store:

• Anonymous account identifier: a random identifier (UUID) generated on your device and an account number assigned by our server, used to keep your letters without a login.
• Nickname and country: the nickname you enter and your country (country level only, never precise location). The country is suggested from your device region or IP-based estimate and you can change it. Other users see only your nickname and flag.
• Year of birth: used only to verify that you are 13 or older. It is never shown to other users.
• Letters: the text you write, the paper and question card you choose, origin and destination countries and timestamps. Letters are delivered to the recipient and stored on our server.
• Usage records: counts of letters thrown, received and replied, stamps, routes and last activity time, used for matching and the passport feature.
• Reports and blocks: letters you report with the reason, and users you block, used only for safety features.
• Push token: a Firebase Cloud Messaging token if you allow notifications.

2. Automated Moderation and Translation (AI Processing)

Every letter is screened automatically before delivery, and translated when you ask. For this, letter text may be sent to third-party AI providers (for example OpenAI or Google). Only the letter text and language information are sent, never your account identifier or nickname. Letters that fail screening are not delivered.

The App includes AI characters operated by the developer ("Sky Village residents") that write to you when a human reply is slow. Letters from AI characters are labelled as AI in the App. Letters you send to an AI character are sent to the AI providers above to generate a reply.

3. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The App shows ads through Google AdMob. For ad delivery, the advertising identifier, device information, approximate IP-based location and ad interaction data may be collected by the ad provider. Users in the European region see a consent message first.

You can reset your advertising identifier or limit personalised ads in your device settings.

4. How We Use Information

• Delivering letters, replies and translations
• Matching letters (by active users, country and language) and the passport and routes features
• Blocking inappropriate content, handling reports and protecting users
• Sending notifications such as letter arrivals, when allowed
• Showing ads

5. Retention and Deletion

Letters and account data are kept while you use the service. If you request account deletion in the App settings or via the contact below, we delete your account, letters and usage records within 30 days. Records needed for report handling or required by law are kept separately for the required period and then deleted. Content sent to AI providers for moderation or translation is handled under each provider's policy.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and restricts use through the year-of-birth check during onboarding. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, and you can use the in-app report and block features to stop contact with other users. Requests are accepted at the contact below.

8. Changes to This Policy

Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date.
